In the remote villages and small towns of Rajasthan, thousands of underprivileged children studying in government schools are struggling to access basic digital education. Without the necessary resources, these students—many of whom come from economically weaker backgrounds—are at risk of being left behind in a rapidly evolving digital world.

At Shree Parshwanath Seva Sansthan, we believe that access to digital tools is the key to unlocking the potential of these children. That’s why we’ve set an ambitious goal: to set up 100 computer labs across government schools in rural Rajasthan. This initiative aims to provide over 20,000 students with the opportunity to develop essential digital skills and access the quality education they deserve.

In today’s world, digital literacy is crucial. A lack of access to computers and the internet puts these children at a severe disadvantage compared to their urban peers. Without computer skills, they are missing out on opportunities for higher education, employment, and personal growth.

Project Vision:

Our goal is to establish 100 fully-equipped computer labs that will transform government schools across Rajasthan. Each lab will include:

  • 10-12 Computers per school, giving students hands-on experience with the technology they need for modern education.
  • High-Speed Internet Connectivity to enable access to a wide range of online learning resources.
  • Furniture (desks, chairs, and workstations) to create a comfortable and conducive learning environment.
  • Printers and Scanners to support academic activities and help students with assignments and projects.
  • Educational Software and learning tools to enhance the educational experience.

Trained Instructors to guide students in developing essential computer skills and preparing them for the future.

The Cost of Impact:

The total estimated cost to set up one computer lab is approximately ₹4,59,500 to ₹4,98,500. This includes:

  • 10-12 Computers: ₹2,50,000 to ₹3,00,000
  • Printer and Scanner: ₹14,000
  • Internet Setup: ₹8,000
  • Instructor Salary for 1 Year: ₹1,50,000
  • Furniture (Desks, Chairs, etc.): ₹35,000 to ₹42,000
  • Miscellaneous Costs (Software, UPS, etc.): ₹15,000

For 100 labs, the total cost is estimated to be around ₹4 Cr to ₹5 Cr.
